Martial Arts Classes
Our martial arts classes incorporate cardiovascular, strength training, traditional martial arts, and self defense techniques that anyone from ages 6 and up can do. We encourages patience, politeness, self-discipline, self-respect, respect for others, and to always do your best -- principles which can affect every aspect of one's life.
Our martial arts classes are family-oriented and adaptable to anyone aged 6 to 96. We have many parents and children taking classes together.

Youn Wha Ryu Organization
SoMo Martial Arts is part of the Youn Wha Ryu Organization. The Youn Wha Ryu system offers traditional martial arts combined with a modern approach to fitness and training methods. The Youn Wha Ryu method incorporates elements from Tae Kwon Do,
Hapkido, Kung Fu, Jiu Jitsu, Tai Chi, and Karate and also trains in many weapons.
The basis of Youn Wha Ryu is Tae Kwon Do. This
method can be learned by almost anyone. To

Instructor: Josh Gorman
Instructor Josh Gorman has done all of his martial arts training in Missouri with the Youn Wha Ryu organization. His extensive experience training all age groups makes it possible for Josh to provide a healthy and fun atmosphere for everyone. Josh supports his martial arts students 100% and attends their testing and tournaments whenever possible.
